Everyone, amateur and professional photographers, is invited to participate in the competition. To participate in the competition you must register in the online gallery ART-GU.RU. Participation in the competition is free.
All materials submitted to the “Oh, this wedding” competition must correspond to the theme of the competition and the declared nominations.
The total number of works that can be submitted to the competition by one participant in each nomination is not limited (but no more than three works in one day, with the exception of the love story nomination - from 3 to 8 photos).
Works made only in the PHOTO technique are accepted; minor digital processing of photographs, the use of retouching and effects are allowed ONLY on the condition that these changes to the image do not significantly affect its essence and were carried out personally by the author of the work without the use of any collaging.
When submitting work to the competition, contestants must indicate in the author's comment the competition category in which the work is submitted. Works without indication of a nomination are rejected from participation in the competition.
When submitting works for the Love story nomination, the author must not only indicate the “Love story” nomination in the author’s comment, but also reflect their order in the titles of the works (the number in brackets after the title), uploading them to the gallery in that order. If there is no numbering in the titles, the work will be rejected.
Technical requirements: work size - no more than 300 kb, .jpg format only, saved in RGB colors. The width/height of the image should not exceed 1000 px.
Placement of works for the competition takes place on the “Add work” page in the menu of the registered author of the Internet gallery ART-GU.RU - to do this, when submitting a work, you must mark the identifier “AH, THIS WEDDING!” in the work upload form. If this identifier is selected, then the work goes to the competition gallery. Works submitted to the competition will not be removed from the competition gallery.
For all competition entries, the author must have a high-resolution version of the file suitable for large-format printing. At the request of the competition organizers, such a version must be sent or otherwise transmitted to them. A photograph of an author who does not send a file for printing at the request of the organizers is excluded from consideration by the jury.
Those who wish to show their creativity without participating in the competitive selection, including members of the jury, have the opportunity to exhibit their photographs in the competition gallery with a note in the author’s commentary “Out of competition”.
The photo competition takes place in one stage, at the end of which the jury evaluates the competition works, gradually eliminating the weakest applicants. To compare the competition works, the following evaluation criteria were chosen: general perception and artistic level of photography, originality of the idea and content of the work, technique and quality of execution. The jury members work independently of each other. Each jury member will be assigned a nomination in which he has the right to a second vote in case of a controversial situation with the selection of the winner.
In each nomination, the jury determines 2 winners - 1st and 2nd place, respectively.
Based on the voting results of the jury, the 10 best works in each category are determined to participate in the final exhibition. The final exhibition of the competition can be expanded if technical capabilities are available.

By submitting works for the competition, the participant thereby declares that he has copyright for each photograph submitted to the competition, as well as the consent of the people appearing in these photographs to publish their images as part of the events of the photo competition “Oh, this wedding!”
In the event of publication on the Internet or display at an exhibition of photographs submitted for the competition, the organizers of the competition are not responsible for claims or complaints from the persons depicted in these photographs.
The authors of the works provide the Organizing Committee of the competition with non-exclusive copyrights, implying non-commercial use of photographs (limited circulation, full or partial reproduction and demonstration in the context of this photo competition and advertising events related to the promotion of the annual wedding photography competition “Oh, this wedding!”). Public display outside the ART-GU.RU gallery of works submitted for the competition is carried out with the obligatory mention of the author’s name; within the competition gallery, the pseudonym or name chosen by the author during registration is displayed.
